Here are a couple of my favorite “Meet the Parents” entries:
“My boyfriend, his dad and I went out of town to visit my boyfriend’s mom and sister during Christmas time (his parents are divorced). Shortly after we got there, my boyfriend’s already intoxicated dad had talked me into running to the liquor store to get him some more whiskey. When I came back my boyfriend was sitting in the bath tub (bath drawn by his mom) talking to his ex-girlfriend on the phone.”

“Though my boyfriend and I had been dating over 3 years, his mother made me sleep in the guest bedroom/hallway. The bed was covered in plastic. ‘Just in case I peed the bed.’”
